連続する、繊細な縦の線。片手に収まる小さなグラスですが、この無数の線によって広がりを感じさせるデザインです。透明な世界に、どれだけシンプルに、印象的にカットを施すか。「江戸切子」工房の一つ「小林硝子工芸所」の若き4代目・小林昂平（こうへい）氏の試みによって生まれた製品です。「小林硝子工芸所」は明治末期より続く、「江戸切子」のなかでも歴史ある工房。父である3代目・淑郎（よしろう）氏は、ガラス全面にカットを入れた、きらびやかな総柄の作品を数多く制作しています。父に敬意の念をもちながら、一方で自分にしかできない表現を日々模索。父が華やかな表現をするのであれば、自分はシンプルな線でより美しさを表現できないかと考え、このグラスが生まれました。洗練されたカットを片手に、お好きな飲み物をお楽しみいただけます。
