Excluding bottom-feeders, I've caught the following Species of fish in Philadelphia, all using the still-fishing style: Northern Snakehead ( Channa argus ), Largemouth Bass ( Micropterus salmoides ), Smallmouth Bass ( Micropterus dolomieu ), American Eel ( Anguilla rostrata ), Striped Bass ( Morone saxatilis ), White Perch ( Morone americana ), Yellow Perch ( Perca flavescens ), Sunfish (includes all 4 types -- Bluegill ( Lepomis macrochirus ), Pumpkinseed ( Lepomis gibbosus ), Green Sunfish ( Lepomis cyanellus ), and Redbreast Sunfish ( Lepomis auritus )), Rainbow Trout ( Oncorhynchus mykiss ), Brown Trout ( Salmo trutta ), Brook Trout ( Salvelinus fontinalis ), etc
