I then cut a circle of orange transparent glass to create a back with more depth and fired with an additional clear glass on top while also stretching the glass larger

The branches were made using modeling glass which is binders (liquid and powder) that are mixed with ground brown glass in powder consistency

This glass was then fired with a black glass under and clear capped on top for extra depth

Radiance 2 candle screen I then cut a circleInspiration: The patterns of a butterfly in the radiance of the sun Artistic Process: First, I manipulated the glass with colors and patterns at high temperatures. I then added more colors and stretched the glass to a larger size. After coldworking, the glass was then cut into a design and formed into a shape. The glass stand is made of multiple layers of blue transparent glass. The Sculpture is adhered to the stand with bumpons on the bottom.
