Toro 2012 Advent Serving temperature 17C°-19C°Grape variety: Tinta de Toro Sourced from 80 year old un grafted vines growing in sandy soils containing ancient river pebbles. Temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation at 28C with skin contact for 24 days in 1200 litre French oak vat. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels (225 litre) for 2 months. Ageing: 20 months in new, medium toasted French barrique. Deep garnet colour with violet rim. Balsamic, inky notes on the nose enveloping
