Mimbres Crossing inlaid belt 3 hand and date displayMimbres Crossing Approx. Size: 45" x 50" The ancient Mimbres culture inhabited Southeastern New Mexico for more than 1,000 years. They were mostly known for their pottery, which was intricately painted with complex graphic designs and animal figures. Painted on Caribou, and embellished with turquoise and jet, this hide contains elements of the Mimbres' beautiful, artistic style. Hides are Hand Painted by Local Prescott Artist Laura Mountain. Laura
