Holy Trinity - Framed Prints Shiva Paintings A group in May 1889"Holy Trinity", a well known fresco by the Early Italian Renaissance painter Masaccio, depicting the Holy Trinity, with the Virgin and Saint John and donors. The title of the painting comes from the three key figures: Christ on the cross, God the Father standing on a ledge behind Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Mary and St. John are also present at the Crucifixion at the foot of the cross, and one step down from them are Masaccios donors to either side.
